Exceptional Puppies for Exceptional Families!
Located just outside Lille, near the Belgian border, Des Cotons de Soie D'Or Kennel (FCI Prefix: Des Flocons de Soie Dorés) is a dedicated breeder of miniature German Spitz (Pomeranians).
We primarily specialize in orange and sable coat colors, but we’ve chosen to expand our palette by introducing chocolate, black, black & tan, cream, and white into our breeding program.
Our dogs are raised as full members of the family and are accustomed to traveling by car and train, attending social events (both at home and in public), and adapting comfortably to both urban and rural lifestyles.
In addition, we actively participate in dog shows across Europe throughout the year with our adult dogs and selected puppies.
Each puppy stays with us for a minimum of 12 weeks and leaves with a comprehensive starter kit that includes:
- Electronic identification microchip (Thermochip)
- Birth certificate (pedigree)
- DNA profile and parentage verification (ANTAGENE laboratory)
- Up-to-date vaccinations, including rabies (additional vaccines and a minimum age of 16+ weeks may be required depending on destination)
- Valid European pet passport
- Sales contract (in addition to a reservation agreement, if applicable)
- Current deworming treatment
- Up-to-date flea and tick prevention
- Veterinary health certificate
- Complimentary 3-month pet insurance covering selected risks (for residents of mainland France)
- Puppy welcome booklet
- Premium puppy kit with carefully selected European products:
* French-made dog bed by Comme un roi
* Italian grooming products by IV San Bernard (puppy range)
* Brushes by Bulle&douce and Greyhound

We take great care in choosing the right families for our puppies and are pleased to offer lifelong guidance and support—whether for questions, advice, friendly check-ins, or even meetups and group outings.
To ensure the best match, we encourage every family to visit us in person before making a reservation and to sign the mandatory Certificate of Commitment and Awareness at least 7 days before any puppy departure, in compliance with French law.
This visit helps confirm mutual compatibility and ensures the breed truly aligns with your lifestyle and expectations. It’s also a wonderful chance to meet in person and build a relationship.
